    Pneumatic Control Valves

    CV Series

    Multi-purpose Control Valves

Extremely versatile pneumatic control valves for use with a variety of fluids such as steam, air and water.

    Benefits and Features

    CV5

Features a positioner and actuator in a compact unit, thus allowing for greater ease of use and installation. Zero adjustment is simple and requires no tools. (Air to open)

    • One combination I/P positioner/actuator (I/P positioned actuator) fits all size valves, to minimize spare inventory requirements.
    • Integrated I/P positioner design simplifies installation. Only a single air and electrical signal needed, with no additional instrumentation or mounting kit requirements.
    • Top mounting of the I/P positioned actuator eliminates passerby damage and misadjustment associated with side-mount components.
    • Positioner vents air automatically to simplify zero setting which ensures tight shut-off and improves control during low flow.
    • Multi-spring actuator is highly efficient, and its low overall height facilitates compact installation.
    • Self-adjusting chevron packing minimizes seal leaks, stem wear and stiction/hysteresis problems.
    • Rolling actuator diaphragm ensures linearity over the operating stroke and maximizes life.

    CV10

Compact design, yet offers large Cv values and wide rangeability. The top of the valve and the yolk are a single unit, eliminating the possibility of valve stem misalignment and stabilizing the seating surfaces, thus ensuring long-term superior sealing capability. Reliable two-port globe-style valve with equal percentage and linear characteristics for use on steam, water or air. These extremely durable control valves with actuators deliver Class IV or VI performance in severe service applications.

    • Multi-spring actuator is highly efficient, and its low overall height facilitates compact installation.
    • Size DN 40 and above utilize V-port plugs to improve control stability and provide durability resulting in a long service life.
    • Self-adjusting chevron packing minimizes seal leaks, stem wear and stiction/hysteresis problems.
    • Rolling actuator diaphragm delivers linearity over the operating stroke and maximizes life.
    • Multi-spring actuator is highly efficient, and its low overall height facilitates compact installation.
    • Intrinsically safe version and a wide variety of other special options are available for exceptional performance in demanding duties.

    CV-COSR

General use control valve featuring an I/P positioner combined with a compact pneumatic actuator.

    • One combination I/P positioner/actuator (I/P positioned actuator) saves space and simplifies system layout, piping and maintenance.
    • Top mounting of the I/P positioned actuator eliminates passerby damage and misadjustment associated with side-mount components.
    • Zero/span adjustment can be performed by simple dial rotation.
    • Self-adjusting chevron packing minimizes seal leaks, stem wear and stiction/hysteresis problems.
    • A condensate drainage port is prepared at the bottom of the body to facilitate piping for installing a blow valve or steam/air trap to eliminate condensate.

    Application Areas

    • Suitable for automatic control of pressure, temperature and flow rate of water, steam, etc.
