Explain of VOC Packing

• As the negative effects of volatile organic chemicals on health and environment are disclosed, the Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) regulates leakage of VOC as below 500PPM, and the Clean Air Act(CAA) limits leakage of 189 kinds of harmful VOC from valves to below 100PPM.
• Wj8400-VOC gives maximum sealing while moving at a low torque and has different angles in the configuration of top, bottom and middle, so it guarantees an excellent performance of maximum 30PPM or less leakage from valves.

Characteristics of VOC Packing

• Designed to provide high sealing almost without leakage from valves and save the production cost and maintenance cost.
• Can realize uniform distribution of up/down force during compression compared to the existing square packing and can extend the process period through one attachment.
• Chemically safe and excellent in chemical resistance.
• Simple in design and broad in application range to valves.
• Has excellent sealing under a low handle torque.

Top

• Molding with Inconel Yoke Mesh Insert Graphite Braid
• Decrease loss factor of packing using Inconel Yoke Mesh arising out of valve’s vibration and steam driven
• Excellent thermal resistance (Up to 650℃)
• Allocating a contact angle with middle to create sufficient fitting at top and bottom & inside and outside diameter of steam and stuffing box
• Metal stiffener to support Inconel Yoke Mesh Insert Graphite Braid at middle

Middle

• Realize low density in 1.45 ~ 1.7mg/cc
• Comprising low density rings min. thr ee levels; there are no occurrence thermosetting phenomena and change by various kind of vibration when it is under operation
• Allocating a contact angle with Top & Bottom to create sufficient fitting at top and bottom & inside and outside diameter of steam and stuffing box

Bottom
