Characteristic

Kammprofile Gasket is comprised of a concentrically serrated solid metal core with a soft sealing material bonded to each face. The soft sealing layer provides low stress gasket seating. The serrated metal core enhances sealing performance by inducing stress concentrations on the sealing surfaces. Also, it minimizes lateral movement of the facing material, while the metal core provides rigidity and blowout resistance. Kammprofile Gasket is used in many industrial, including petrochemical, power generation, etc., and is preferred to Spiral Wound Gasket for processes withstand extreme fluctuations in temperature and pressure or with constant high pressure and temperature.
