Services: Survey, calculate energy saving and install complete condensate recovery system
Phuc Minh provides survey, energy saving calculation and together with customers to invest in pumping station for complete condensate recovery system.
Benefits of a Condensate Recovery Pump System
- Make the most of the heat from the condensate with available heat levels from 55 – 90ºC
- Up to 20% reduction in burning fuel to save energy
- Reduced need for boiler blowdown
- Limit system corrosion, increase service life
- Do not use electricity, limit the risk of explosion
- Reduce CO2 emissions, reduce environmental pollution

Actual picture of condensate recovery system
Non-electric condensate recovery pump system - Condensate Recovery Pump (referred to as mechanical pump) recovers condensate for hot steam system (Steam)/boiler.
Energy saving in thermal equipment systems of industries
Condensate pump is one of the energy saving solutions in thermal equipment systems. So far, to recover condensate, we often use an electric condensate pump system or do not recover condensate but discharge it directly into the environment, causing inefficient waste.
Why do we have to recover condensate for boiler?
- Take advantage of heat
- Reduce the amount of oven flushing water
- Reduce the amount of water added
Thereby reducing burning fuel, reducing operating costs, maximizing furnace efficiency, ensuring environmental regulations,...
In fact, there are currently two types of condensate recovery: electric pump recovery and mechanical pump recovery. We would like to introduce to you the method of condensate recovery by mechanical pump because of the many benefits it brings.
The benefits of a mechanical condensate recovery system over an electric condensate pump:
- Cost savings because of non-electric operation. Only a very small amount of heat (steam) or air (air) is used to push the water pump away.
- Long life because no electricity, no fire, no damage to seals like electric pumps.
- Easy flow control through counter.
Mechanical recovery of condensate by means of steam pressure in the steam pipeline or compressed air (air) to push the condensate to the storage tank. The recovered condensate has a temperature of 95-98 degrees Celsius, which saves on cold water heating and water treatment chemicals. ...
Diagram of working principle of mechanical condensate pumping station system
We have designed and installed numerous mechanical condensate pumping station systems for plants, where we advise them on energy saving solutions through condensate recovery. Of course, the initial cost will be more expensive, but you will see long-term economic benefits after using it if you invest. You can recover your capital in 4-16 months depending on the steam capacity of each plant.
