• 1975

  Thomas M. Trachsel establishes ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE LTD in Switzerland for sale and marketing of a wide range of CO₂ equipment.

• 1987

  ASCO acquires Carbonic Industries Ltd which later becomes ASCO New Zealand.

• 2005

  ASCO acquires Diffusion Hydraulique S.A.R.L. which becomes ASCO France.

• 2007

  ASCO becomes part of the Messer Group.

• 2011

  ASCO acquires Remco in Switzerland – Production site of dry ice production and dry ice blasting machines.

• 2014

  ASCO and BUSE Gastek pool their strengths with a merger in CO₂ process and dry ice technology. Therefore ASCO even increased its vast practical experience in the wide field of CO₂ and dry ice to over 130 years.

• 2016

  Foundation of North American subsidiary ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE INC

• 2020

  Digitalization of ASCO pelletizers to provide production and machine data on a new customer platform. Remote support and remote monitoring are now standard features.
