Plug Valves
PLUG VALVES
KLINGER plug valves operate with the same principle used by ball valves. They feature cylindrical or conical “plugs” with one or more hollow passageways. Rotating these plugs inside the valve body allows the operator to control the flow of the medium through the valve.
KLINGER plug valves are typically used for opening / closing functions as well as for flow deviation, which is due to their multiport configuration capabilities. Amongst others, plug valves can be used for fluids with suspended solids.
Our valve specialists can provide technical support to source quality plug valves including pressure balanced, lubricated, lined, alkylation and double block bleed. The severe service sleeved plug valve is an optimum product for tighter emission control in more demanding applications. We can source a wide range of valves made by KLINGER and other leading manufacturers to suit your specific application and timing requirements.
