Product Introduction

Sunpass PTFE Encapsulated O-Rings are high-performance industrial sealing products designed with an elastomeric core enclosed by a seamless outer shell of modified PTFE (FEP).

The inner core is typically made of FKM (Viton) or Silicone (VMQ), ensuring consistent sealing pressure at the interface. The outer FEP/PTFE shell provides outstanding protection against aggressive chemicals, solvents, and extreme operating environments.

These O-rings are designed primarily for static sealing applications. Any dynamic movement or abrasive conditions may damage the outer encapsulation layer.

Special Construction of PTFE Encapsulated O-Rings

Sunpass PTFE Encapsulated O-Rings consist of two main components:

• Inner Core: FKM (Viton) or VMQ (Silicone)
• Outer Shell: FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) or modified PTFE
